I would like you to introduce the basic dessert in Thailand. The name of this dessert is Tokyo, don't think about the country of JAPAN, because the name is not related with that country.

You can find them from the food stall, I can't specific where they are but if you see some shop like this I suggest you to order the local thai dessert

When you order, you can choose 2 kind of Tokyo.

  1. Sweet - Cream, Pandan custard
  2. meat - pork sausage, Quail eggs
After you order , the chef will make them and put them in the paper bag.

The price is around 2-5 THB/PC

Pad thai from my sister

Thursday, August 14, 2014

This is the menu from my sister who never loves pad thai, but she tried to make it for her special friend from Australia.

Pad thai is a famous dish for many foreign people. It is quite unique menu in Thailand.

Ingredients.

Tofu, Kuicheai, lemon, dried shrimp, sprouts, egg, tamarind  juice, noodle

My sister didn't prepare any ingredients, because she never do it, my mom provided her all these ingredients.

Just look her cooking.

My mom always instructed her to do every single step, watch out this dish. Hahaha

After her long first cooking, look at her dish

Look good, right ??  If you come to Thailand don't forget to take this menu.

There are a lot of Thai dessert which I love but some of them I love the most is Khanom Chan. It is a simple but delicious so much. There are many layer of it. When I was young, my mother said that I had to eat it by layer. The taste is sweet and Coconut smells. Normally the color is green. It made of pandan, but some is blue(butterfly pea), brown(coffee), pink. The price is not too high. It is about 10-20 THB/2pc.
